Warmth of a cold night...

Shading sun and rising moon, greet dusky chilly twilight,

kids being retreat abode, embrace the falling night;

gleaming halogen lamps on street, mist filling the scene,

shivers sent by cold zephyr, snow shrouds the green;

peeking through a glazed window, I see a lady divine,

steams and boils a crop or two, and makes her family dine;

walking through the lane, sight a group with blazing flame,

circuits the logs put on fire, they trifle a card game;

sharing zeal of love together, a couple airs hand in hand;

hugs and kisses time and now, spelled by cupid's wand,

crossing the sacred chapel, I make my way to a bistro,

drinks along with morsel, adding to it is a flute maestro;

sipping my latte, intense aroma fills my senses,

goes deep inside, slump on couch I put off my lenses;

freezing cold here no more, things around are warmer lot,

nights ahead be colder, such warmth along I fear not.
