Warmth of a cold night...

Shading sun and rising moon, greet dusky chilly twilight,

kids being retreat abode, embrace the falling night;

gleaming halogen lamps on street, mist filling the scene,

shivers sent by cold zephyr, snow shrouds the green;

peeking through a glazed window, I see a lady divine,

steams and boils a crop or two, and makes her family dine;

walking through the lane, sight a group with blazing flame,

circuits the logs put on fire, they trifle a card game;

sharing zeal of love together, a couple airs hand in hand;

hugs and kisses time and now, spelled by cupid's wand,

crossing the sacred chapel, I make my way to a bistro,

drinks along with morsel, adding to it is a flute maestro;

sipping my latte, intense aroma fills my senses,

goes deep inside, slump on couch I put off my lenses;

freezing cold here no more, things around are warmer lot,

nights ahead be colder, such warmth along I fear not.

10 Facts about Expectations

Here are some facts about expectations that I have learned in the journey of my life yet:

1. Expectation is a powerful tool when used properly. You expect good things to happen, and when they actually happen, you feel immense joy and your faith increases in the goodness of life.

2. When your expectations are not realized, you get to re-evaluate your beliefs and also your patience increases.

3. Having expectations from yourself makes you do things that you thought were impossible. You overcome your self imposed limits and explore your untapped potential.

4. When you expect something from others, you get to know the other person well and also realise the depth of your relationship with that person.

5. Your expectations are met when you truly believe in them.

6. The outcome of your expectations is directly proportional to the input you had given. The input might be in form of your efforts, beliefs, faith, or the like.

7. Expectations are met when you stop getting anxious about it and you remain in the state of joy.

8. People are just means to meet your expectations, it's your higher self that actually makes you meet your expectations.

9. You get to see the results that you desire when you vividly imagine the results beforehand.

10. A golden rule - When all your efforts seem to fail, simply surrender but keep your faith. Sleep with a positive mindset and wake up with no thoughts about the thing that you expect. To your surprise, you get the thing you desire unexpectedly. To sum up this rule "YOU GET THE MOST WHEN YOU EXPECT THE LEAST"

A spooky walk...

Recently, a friend of mine told me about some "unusual" or rather frightening events that took place in his office. No, I am not going to narrate those events here (there is no point in putting forth a secondhand story...with no strings attached to me directly).

Well...but this revives my "not so usual" experience at my training center (of one of the organizations I worked with) in Pune. It was the month of July, and the city was brisking in the glory of monsoon in its full swing. It rained in the light, it rained in the dark...sometimes the showers were heavy and sometimes it used to drizzle for long hours (I absolutely loved it!). The rains rendered our campus even greener and merrier. Amidst such endearing environs, we used to have long technical sessions the whole day, but the evenings were at our disposal. However, as the training center was somewhat off the city, we rarely moved out in the main city in the evenings. Most often, after having our supper, we used to go for a walk within the campus (it's a huge campus!). Here is an account of encounters we had on one such walk...

It was around 10 in the night, and we, a group of 5-6 people, were strolling in the "never ending" lane of our lush green campus. The fun and frolic within the group, together with refreshing and fragrant cool breeze was making the scene picture perfect! Some silly jokes...some crazy comments, little pranks and whacky moments...it was youth in its full vigor! The path was well lit with halogen lights, and we all were moving in completely relaxed and carefree manner. All of a sudden, one of the lights, under which we were passing through, went OFF. Yeah...nothing unusual, it must have gone faulty. But as soon as we crossed that light, it was ON again! We were quite amazed, and two of us turned back and moved under that light again...and guess what, yes...it want OFF again, and was ON as soon as we moved away from it! Now, this was quite unusual, and we all started speculating the reason. Now we all being engineers, tried to find some technical logic behind it. Nevertheless, we pondered over it over a while and then moved on.

This "light incident" turned on our adventurous spirits, and we all decided to leave the lane and trace "the path less travelled!" We started moving through a new path adjacent to the lane. It was quite dark there, and the place was encroached with some "not-so-wanted" plants. At a near distance we noticed some uninhibited huts. It was quite weird, why are these huts here in this training center? We spotted a man near the lane (some one from security) and asked him the mystery behind those huts. He told us that these huts were for built for workers who used to work here at the time of construction of this center. He added that this place is in existence since pre-independence, and that many of the workers lived and worked here all through their lives, and finally died at the same place! We decided to explore the place a bit more, but as we moved further some of us started choking and felt quite uneasy (it was definitely not pleasant!). Then, we heard a hushed voice...couldn't make it though what it was...a man, a woman or an animal (or their ghosts?)! Now, we were actually quite scared...and to add to our fear, someone made us notice subdued voice of bangles! Oh man...we were definitely not experiencing something that could be termed "normal!" Almost all of us felt an unknown presence, and witnessed something unusual. It was in our best of interest to stop investigating further and move away from that place. Back to the walking lane, we felt much relaxed. We didn't really talk about it much. But ya, on our way back...we again had to pass through the same "haunted light" and as expected...the light still behaved in the same spooky manner!

I don't know what it was...an unexplained truth or just make-up of our mind, but it definitely felt like a close encounter with so called paranormal or supernatural!

My ideal job

Sitting on my laptop in my office, I am wondering if this is really something that I want to do? But, I myself chose this profession, I hated my profile in my first job...so decided to move on. Now, after 2 years in this profession, I am convinced that although this job suits me, yet this is definitely not something that I would like to do all my life! As a matter of fact, I am quite sure that I won't ever be interested in any corporate job lifelong. Ya agree that such jobs pay well and gives stability to life. Nevertheless, I have always taken risks in my life, have lived the life my way and will continue to do so...

Well...let's come to the point, ideal profession! For me, it has be something like a travel show host or a travel organizer. It sounds so amazing to travel the world and getting paid for it! I have always loved traveling and exploring varied places and people. Being a travel show host will definitely bring me in line with my desires and will fill me with immense joy and bliss! There are so many benefits of being a travel show host, such as:
- you get to visit exotic places around the world, with no hassles of travel expenditure and arrangements!
- you get to stay in luxurious hotels and dine in world's finest restaurants!
- you get opportunities to be a part of festivities of different cultures!
- you get to meet so many interesting people and build good social networking!
- you get to experience the magic of spectacular nature in so many forms!
- you get to learn about the history, culture, traditions and life in general of different parts of the world!
Ahh...the list is endless! There are so many things you get to witness being a travel show host. Unlike any other job, you won't strain your eyes in front of computer screen, you won't be trapped indoors for long hours, you won't need to track n number of things!

Yes, I agree that there are no free lunches in this world. Even as a travel show host, you need to prepare the script for the show....you need to follow a time schedule...and not to forget that sometimes you need to try things that you won't really like doing! But still, it's all in great joy. Living a life filled with excitement, a life which opens a new and fresh chapter each day. Life won't be monotonous, it will be dynamic and grooving! wow...it sounds great to my ears. I am visualizing some wonderful sites where I wanna go, I can feel the magic of being in those sites...it's truly awesome! Ok...enough writing...now I need to contact discovery travel and living!

Follow your dreams...

There is a famous saying "Never part with your dreams. When they're gone, you might still exist, but you cease to live."

How true is that...dreams give you a reason to live, dreams give you strength to venture into the unknown, and dreams give you understanding of your inner self. It all starts with a rough thought, then with time you begin to sharpen your thought and carve into a framework. From that point you actually begin to follow your dream. At first, you think about it for few minutes in a day...and it grows on further. Now you begin to notice things associated with your dream randomly, may be in a newspaper heading, some hoarding, or in a casual conversation with someone, it just appears from somewhere! Then comes a stage when you start dreaming more intensely, but this time with your heart rather than your brain. This is the time when your dream becomes your passion. Day or night, in or out, lone or in crowd, all your senses are in-tune with just one thing....your passion!

At times you feel trapped, at times you feel you are traveling a path with no exit route, and you are swept by hazy winds of uncertainty. But hold on, this is the time when you should try your hardest. Remember the most important things while you are following your dreams are faith, patience and perseverance. No matter what, if you have faith and have the strength to hold your dream tight in your heart, you will eventually succeed. When you have ardent passion, failure is no option...you are bound to win.

Though it seems that things are not in our favour, but actually things are getting manifested at their own pace. Take actions when required, but do not try to push too hard. Just have faith and enjoy the journey to your dream, be receptive and focus on your passion. Once you believe that the thing you crave is already yours, it actually becomes yours! That's how it works....and works for all the same way without exceptions. Stay positive as much as you can, think, speak, and act as if you are already living your dream. Start believing in miracles, and trust me they do occur when you are following your dreams with deep desire.

Once your dream becomes the reality, do not stop! Dream again, this time even bigger! Be even more passionate, the more energy you put in...greater the results you will see. Live your life with purpose and passion. And remember, don't just dream...rather follow your dreams! Happy living :)

Weekend bliss - A Saturday!

After a hectic working week...exhausted from work and long hours of commuting, 'a weekend' gives a sigh of relief. Gone are the days when we used to get two months vacation in school and college, now 'two days' of weekend are cherished more than those two months vacation. The fun begins from Friday itself...I enjoy with my cab mates all the way to office, and there awaits more fun-filled moments with my colleagues. Everyone is in cheerful mood, work takes a backseat and paves the way for faces sparkling with joy! At lunch time, we plan to move out (oh...how much time we take to decide where to go) and enjoy a happy meal together. Post lunch, we all try to wind up our work and just wait for the clock to strike 5. Some more masti and jokes...and it's time to go!!!

Now back in cab, I hope for a plan to materialize...so that I can go somewhere (may be a movie?)with my favourite buddy. Ahh..but it's Friday, he has some other plans, so he takes a different route...and I end up having a boring ride! Anyways...I go home, spend some time with my family at Friday's special menu, and then start planning for the weekend! I make few calls and see if some plan works out (although most of the successful outings are unplanned!). A look at the clock, it's just 10! Should I sleep? (may be...I'm tired and then I have to stick to my routine of getting up at 5 in the morning). Still...it's Friday, so I can stay awake for a little more time. Now, I either turn on my laptop or get on to read some good book (yeah...I love reading...and have quite a few unread or half read books in my shelf). Well...I'm even more tired now, so lights OFF and here I go to sleep....zzzzzz

Good morning....it's lovely Saturday! My day starts with my routine exercises and stuff, and I'm geared up for an exciting day. After having my breakfast, I am again on my phone...making plans! Whom should I move out with today? college group...old office friends...or that favourite buddy of mine? A call...and a two...and three...(it takes too many calls to plan a group meet!) But finally...plan is made, but which place? Old favourite CP! Noooo...it's so hot! Ok...then some mall in Rajouri...or a long ride to Gurgaon? Someone suggests...let's meet in evening in CP...ok done! Well...I hate summers for this...now what to do at home this afternoon! watch TV....naa...too boring! laptop...tired to it! books...always great but feel like sleeping after a while. Ok...a mix of all...some surfing...some reading...and finally lots of sleeping...or rather just lazing around! Finally...it's evening...let's move out. Taking a metro ride to CP (metro is surely one of the best things in Delhi!)...my station is a terminating one...so getting a seat is not an issue, I enjoy the ride with my favourite music playing in my ears (I love my MotoRokr E8!) or having that non-sensible but enjoyable chat if travelling with my friends. In around 45 minutes, we reach CP...buzzing with people...but still this place has a unique charm! As usual...we are hungry, and now begins our search for some new place (although we try our level best...but generally end up being in same pizza hut, CCD, or barista). After stuffing our bellies, we just stroll around the inner circle...may be some shopping or just window shopping. Moving to central park...or wherever, I just wanna forget office, and have all fun and frolic! All done...nothing else comes to our mind...so now it's time to move back home.

Hey...it's not that late! I can go out for a movie or dinner with my buddy. But...he didn't call me, he might be busy...should I call? With such wavering thoughts throughout the metro ride...I reach my station. And here things turn my way! Before I reach home, I receive his call and we plan to go for a movie! Cool...I simply love these instant plans (although I was craving for this the whole day!) Enjoying the movie at PVR (movie wasn't that great...but still it was good fun)...and then having that late night dinner, amidst the silence of the night and refreshing cool breeze...driving is such an amzing thing! I always feel so great when I get to spend time with this wonderful friend of mine (I liked that group meet as well...but ideally I believe that "two is company, and three is crowd"!) Nevertheless...it was a perfect saturday! I reach home at 1 that night...I thanked God for giving me a day filled with amazing moments, and finally I surrender myself to the dreamy night!

Wonders of Appreciation

Two friends discussing about their current circumstances:
friend A: "Dude...my job is too boring, I just wanna move out of it!"
friend B: "even mine is quite boring, it pays well...but my boss is too fussy. And dude...atleast you are living in your hometown, with your family...but I am not! I don't want to live in this city"
friend A: "hmmm...but there are lot of restrictions when you live with your family, I would love to live in a different city, it's all too monotonous here"
friend B: "may be...and you know I'm too pissed off because of my current relationship, that girl is quite possessive and sometimes I feel she just expects too much out of me...this is so irritating, I wanna move out of this"
friend A: "dude...I think you are lucky that you have someone in your life, I am longing to be in a relationship, it feels too wonderful to be in love"

What did you notice in the above conversation? These friends are just complaining for whatever they have in their lives. The one who is away from family, craves for it and the other craves for freedom. Though their jobs pay well...but still you are blaming for one thing or the other. The one in love wants to get rid of it, and the other is complaining about the lack of love. Disatisfaction...complaints...frustration...Phew!!!

Is this the way to live life? Certainly not! Life is meant to be enjoyed...and appreciated in every possible way. To change the things, you need to change your thoughts! Rather than complaining about lack of things, appreciate the things that you have. These friends above have lot of good things to be appreciative of, they both have jobs to sustain their lives well. One has his family to be with, then the other has a good chance to build new friendships. The one who is complaining about his relationship, must appreciate his life to bestow him with somone who loves him so much, someone who values him more than her own life!

Now, think about your life. I am sure you must also be complaining about lot of things in your life. But have a clear look at your life, and you will see great things that deserve your appreciation. Appreciate your family, your friends, your colleagues. When you spend time in nature, appreciate the beauty of nature, appreciate the coolness of refreshing air, appreciate the music of flowing water, and appreciate sweet melody of singing birds. Appreciate your life for giving you so much. And you know what, appreciation will come back to you in many folds. You will begin to receive appreciation for your work in your office, you will be appreciated for the love and care you show towards your family and friends. The life will give you even more things to be appreciative of, and will deliver great opportunities for which you will get phenomenal appreciation.

Make appreciation an integral part of your life...and witness the wonders of appreciation in every day of your life!

Magic of Gratitude

What you are about to read has the power to transform your life forever, it is a simple law of the universe but it is infallible and stands true, no matter who you are, where you are, and what you do!

When you wake up in the morning, what is the first thought that normally comes to your mind? In most of the cases, people tend to worry about going to their workplace, hassles of the day ahead, and feeling of resentment that they don't have something that they want. Such thoughts serve no good, they rather add to your misery. So, just wipe out negativity from your life.

Tomorrow morning when you wake up, just fill your mind with positive thoughts of gratitude. No matter in what phase of life you are, there are always things in your life for which are grateful. Be thankful to God that he has given you a shelter to sleep, food to eat, and clothes to wear. Then, be grateful for having your family by your side, having good friends, having a good job to sustain life, and be most thankful for the fact that you are alive to enjoy the spectacular journey called life! Big or small, appreciate and value goodness in your life.

Fill yourself with the sense of gratitude and be ready for a bright new day. You will get to see the magic of gratitude within few days, you will attract great happiness and joy in your life. Your gratitude would be paid back to you, you will attain success in your work, in your relationships, and most of all in your own personal domain. Experience this magic, it has the power to fulfill your dreams and make your life as beautiful as you want it to be!

Haunting Past

Analyze this: He is well educated, has a good job, good family, great friends, he is almost sure of the path for his life.
Looks cool, this guy is for sure a happy man on this planet of misery! But hey...ask him, is he happy? No, he is not!

This is true for most of "well-to-do" youngsters these days...they have it all, yet happiness is missing from their lives. But why so, they are living a decent present with a promising future ahead. The answer lies in the thing which is not revealed...that is their past.

Let's go back to that guy in the first line...his journey till date has been filled with both joys and sorrows. He witnessed great happiness when he scored highest marks in his class, or when he was chosen the captain of his school cricket team. He enjoyed that great family trip last summer, and how can he forget those fabulous days he spent with his loved friends! But then, he also can't forget the day he got his first semester result...for the first time he scored low grades! Then, how much he repented when he couldn't get that desired job. Sad memories of those days when his family was in pain, and those when he lived alone in an alien city. And how much he suffered when he unwillingly had to leave the person he loved the most!

So...although today he has a so-called "nice" life, yet he is not happy because his past still haunts him. The fear of failures he had in the past...be it in his career or relationships. He has this good job today, but he can't forget failure in his last job. He is living well with his family today, but he can't forget the days he had to live without them. He once again has someone to love in his life, but he is insecure because of haunting memories of his past relationship.

But then he can't change his past! He should be happy for what all he has in his present. Easier said than done! There is one missing element in all this theory, that is the significance of the past. If memories of the past were just meant to haunt and hurt us, then God would have not made our brain so powerful to retain details of our past. God makes us remember our past, for he wants us to take learning from our past and implement it in our present. For this guy...something went wrong in the last job interview, and he learned from his mistakes and so he has this good job today. He must have made some mistakes in his past relationship, but this time he won't repeat those mistakes and will play safe. His haunting past will help him to carve a better future. He might not be happy today, but in near future he will be happy for sure! He will get all that he deserves, his learning from his past will make him fit for life ahead.

This goes for all of us...we might not be happy today because our past haunts us, but just apply the learning from your past to your present, and be ready to embrace your bright future with a big smile!

Love: In view of "common" people

First neighbour: "hey...you know Mr. Mehta's daughter is so adamant to get married to the guy whom she loves, though her parents completely disapprove of this relationship...you know that guy is of some different caste and has lower social standard than that of Mehta's"

Second neighbour: "ya...even I heard that. This girl has gone mad. Why is she doing this...she is wrong!"

This kind of conversation is common among "common" people when they get to know that a girl wants to get married to a guy of her choice, which her parents disapprove of. And these "common" people often form this opinion that this is wrong! Without understanding the value of relationship that two people in love share, these "common" people just tag it as wrong. Though these "common" people thoroughly enjoy love stories and happy endings on silver screen, and they all agree that love is the most beautiful feeling one can have; but still when it comes to real life, they stick to their conservative mindset. Right or wrong, it is upto those individuals who want to spend their lives together, then why the hell it is being tagged by these "common" people. These people need to understand that most important things in life are respect for one's individuality, respect for one's emotions, and freedom to live life by one's choice.

Being Cool :)

What is this buzz around being cool? How often we say...o we really enjoyed with him, he is too cool, or hey...let's try this out, it looks cool! what is this "coolness" all about?

Well...some say that being cool means being modern, outgoing, trendy, and having a good sense of humour. And others say that being cool is simply being yourself, with no pretense and no inhibitions.

This is how I would define this "coolness" factor-

A person is actually "cool" if:
- He (or She) is good with people, warm hearted (opposed to literal coolness) and sensitive to the needs of others
- He is clear in his thought process, which eventually reflects in his conversation
- He is aware of good places to hang out with friends
- He knows how and when to use his sense of humour
- He is mostly well informed about current events and can add value to most of the conversations

A thing is actually "cool" if:
- It goes well with your personality
- It makes you as well others comfortable
- It complements the time and the place

So next time you call someone or something "cool", check on aforesaid parameters!

In conversation with God...

Here is an excerpt of my conversation with God...you think it is not possible to converse with God? trust me it is very much possible!

Me: Hello God! (with a smile)
God: Hello my child (reverting with smile)
Me: My lord, I am disturbed (as usual) and badly need your help!
God: Yes ofcourse, I am always there for you...tell me what you need?
Me: God, you know how much I need _________________ (that's a secret part of my conversation)
God: But, don't you already have that? I have already given you what you need my child!
Me: Yes god, but you know by past still haunts me and I am always fearful of loosing what I have!
God: I tested you in past, and you passed that test well. Now it is the time for you to enjoy my gift, don't worry
Me: I understand that god, but still you know that are lot of issues associated with it...I don't know how to manage!
God: Have I asked you to manage anything? Leave it to me, have faith in me...I won't let you down my child!
Me: Thanks a lot God, but you know I am not being able to live well with all these insecurities, and with these constant thoughts!
God: It happens, that's human nature. But tell me one thing...how sure are you about yourself and your sentiments?
Me: God, I am very much sure, I am person of strong will and deliver my best in my relationships.
God: Good, I know that. So, be assured...no need to worry. I am there to take care of your worries. Let time flow and you just keep delivering your best. Do not over-expect, I know when you need what. And I will give you right thing at the right time.
Me: God that sounds great! I won't worry from now on, because I know that you are always there with me and that you understand me better than I do myself!
God: Fine my child, just enjoy my blessings...I'll keep showering my love on you.
Me: God you are great...I love you!
God: So do I my child (smiles and goes silent)

So...have you ever had such a conversation with God? No? try it out!

Straight from Heart!

"Heart knows no boundation when it beats for someome,
it does not count thorns in its way,
what it counts are the lonely days"

"Listening the dictates of your heart may let you down for a day or two,
but this will serve the purpose that even the brain can't do"

"With true love and purity in your heart, you can make the whole world yours"

"Only a minute fraction of millions win in the game of hearts"

"There are few people who can hear the voice of unspoken words, lucky are those who finds them out"

"Do not love someone for you are alone,
even not for you need a reason to live;
love someone to perform good deeds,
love someone to pray for his desired needs"

See the World!

If someone asks me about my most cherished desire, I would say that I want to travel around the whole world. The world is full of wonders! There are people who just stick to one place throughout their lives, they miss out on great possibilities that the world has to offer. Every place on this planet is unique, every place has a charm of its own, and every place has a distinctive soul. Ever wondered...why do we feel different at different places? When we go on a trip to a certain place, although we go with that the same mind, body and soul, and also mostly with the same group of people with whom with spend most of our time, yet we expereince the difference! This is because of the magic and charisma of that place. There are some places, which we find so peaceful and relaxing that we crave to spend our entire life at that place, and then there are places, which we simply detest and feel like moving away from that place! Nevertheless, every country, and every city within that country has something special about it. Like India is known for its ancient culture and traditions, US is known for its modernity and liberalism, and Europe for its natural spectacles and splendid art. You get to see so much diversity and witness various hues of life when you travel. Moreover, every place has its own creative and intellectual domain. Your writing capabilities may take a full swing in a tranquil mountaineous place, and your artistic side may bloom in the city of Venice or Florence. So when you travel and see the world, you get to know the right place for the right thing! And not to forget the variety of people that you get to know on your voyage. Habitants of different places have their unique lifestyle, viewpoint, and have their own frame of life. When you meet these people, you certainly get to learn so many new things in life. And in due course, you may meet someone who can transform your life in the way you always dreamt of, or you even get to meet the person you were always waiting for! Possibilities are endless, you just need to embrace the world and set out for a journey of a lifetime...

Theory of liking and disliking

Everyone present on this earth is the creation of that one divine entity, yet everyone is unique and so different from one another. Agree, many of us have a lot of things in common as well. Sometimes we tend to enjoy our similarities with certain people, and then there are people with whom we enjoy the differences as well! But have you ever wondered that what makes us like or dislike someone? We say that interests and attitude defines our relationship with another person. But it is not necessarily true. How many times you have met a person whom you don't even know properly but you still like him and feel like being with him? On the other hand, we witness people who have done no harm to us but we still tend to dislike them. Isn't that true? So, it's not the interests and attitude that makes us like or dislike someone. Actually, we all have an invisible "aura" around us, and we all exhibit certain vibes. It is a game of matching vibes and compatible aura that makes us gel with other person. And yes, that divine entity provides us with clues all the time by making use of "aura" and vibes. Now, the next time you encounter someone (not the ones who you know really well), try to see their "aura" and try to feel their vibes. These things can tell you what you can't even imagine!

The Life I Lived

This is what most of us feel at least once in our life...do you agree?

I LIVED THE LIFE MY WAY,WITHOUT A WISH DIDN'T SPENT A DAY;
MY HEART WAS THE GUIDE, HE TAUGHT MY BRAIN,
IT KEPT ALL GOLD AND REST WENT DOWN DRAIN;
WHATEVER I WISHED, BECAME MINE, NEVER I WAITED IN A LINE;
MY RELATIONS WERE FRAMED TO MY DESIRE,
TOO STRONG WERE THESE FRAGILE WIRES;
THE DAY NEVER TURNED THAT MADE ME CRY,
ALL MY LIFE, THESE EYES REMAINED DRY;

HOPE THE LINES ABOVE COMES TRUE FOR ONE,
THOUGH ' I ' BECAME THE PART OF NONE;
ALTER THEIR MEANING AND WATCH THE FUN, I BET, IT CAN MELT THE SUN;
I LIVED ALONG WITH ALL HE GAVE TO SUSTAIN,
TRIED TO MOVE WELL AND MAKE JOYS RETAIN;
PATIENTLY WAITED FOR A BRIGHT NEW DAY,
BUT NEVER CAME A DAY THAT COVERED THE GREY;
MY DREAMS AND WISHES NEVER TOUCHED DESIRED LANE,
ALL MY EFFORTS, ALL MY DREAMS WENT IN VAIN;
STILL THE WET EYES SEARCH THE LONELY STREETS,
THERE MAY BE SOMEONE WAITING WITH GENUINE GREETS...

Mystery called Life

I always wonder about those unturned pages of life, the pages that contain acts that we are yet to perform and contain a new blend of joy and sorrow. We are often advised to live in present and leave the rest to god, but is it really possible to do so? It seems too difficult to flow with life as it comes, time and again we wonder what's in store for us next! Yes, we do work towards making our future bright. Be it our school, college, or job, we always work hard to meet our goals and secure our future. We also put in best of efforts in our cherished relationships. Though we mostly tend to take love of our parents and siblings for granted, yet there are times when we do tell them that yes..we really care! Then we have our friends, the only relation that god lets us choose on our own! We share a lot with our friends, there are issues with which we can only entrust our friends, and thus we put efforts in maintaining some special friendships forever, and of course we love our friends (sometimes even more than our granted relations). Efforts...efforts...and efforts! In all spheres of all life we put so much effort, just to be sure that our future is sunshine bright! But wait a moment...can we really be sure? There is something called destiny, which plays its game no matter what. Those unturned pages of life begin to unfold, and we witness the mystery called life. Sometimes our best of efforts are wasted, and sometimes we get unexpected gains! But when we were the one paving the way for our future, why we face uncertainties? The answer is simple...when we were paving our way, god was paving another way at the same time (or may have done it long back!). Now, the answer to those uncertainties lies in the fact whether these two ways will converge or diverge? The reason for this convergence or divergence is unknown...and so life remains a mystery! But does that mean that our efforts are of no use...is everything pre-defined? Well..I say no, for if you are paving your way, at least there is a good possibility that your way will converge with the way that god has paved for you. But if you make no way on your own, you are destined to go on the way of the god, which is certainly uncertain! So, give the best of you to life and have faith in god...that's the only way to resolve the mystery called life!
